How we got started started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.

Our Labs

Our second floor has been separated to house two main labs that provide different services.

  • The Eyewear Repair Lab is staffed by two technicians , five days a week providing internet eyewear repair customers resolutions to the toughest repair jobs.
  • Our Prescription Lab is staffed by an optomotrists whose task is to produce roughly thirty prescription orders a day for both retail customer and internet customers. Our lab does the cutting of lenses, shaping rimless and semi-rimless frames, performing drill mounts, edging and surfacing as well as coatings such as anti-reflection coating and UV protection coatings.
  • Our Prices provides a straight forward service. We repair your broken eyeglasses or sunglasses frames, no matter if they have a prescription in them or not. Our rule is all eyewear is treated equal. Whether your item is an inexpensive no name brand frame or a very expensive designer brand of eyeglasses your item will get the best care possible and the same attention to detail.

    Work is done in-house

    We are able to offer extremely competitive prices, because all of our repairs are carried out in our own optical lab. We do not outsource the work to third parties.
